Frequently Asked Questions

What population do you work with?

I work with adults who reside in Arizona, Florida, or South Dakota. I am passionate about providing trauma-focused individual therapy to help adults overcome anxiety, low self-esteem, phobias, complex grief, trauma, and other self-limiting beliefs.

Is EMDR safe and effective?

Yes, EMDR is both safe and highly effective when practiced by a trained and certified therapist. Decades of research show that EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for trauma, anxiety, and other distressing life experiences. Additionally, it can be done in-person or via telehealth. EMDR is endorsed by leading organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association, the World Health Organization, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Do you accept insurance?

No, I do not currently accept any insurance plans. However, I am happy to provide a superbill to clients who would like to coordinate reimbursement with their insurance provider.

How much does therapy cost?

I charge 200.00 per 50-minute session.

Where is your office located?

My office is located at 10300 49th St. N., Clearwater, FL 33762, in the Gateway Area of Pinellas County. It is easily accessible from US 19 for the greater Tampa Bay area. I typically offer in-person services on Tuesday, Thursday, and occasionally Saturday. Additionally, I offer telehealth services on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

How do I schedule?

Existing clients can schedule online through the secure patient portal.

If you are a potential client, the first step is to schedule a free “Initial Consultation”. You can fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page or call the office at 727-344-9754 to schedule.

What is EMDR Consultation?

EMDR Consultation is a supportive relationship between an EMDR trained therapist and an EDRIA-approved Consultant or Consultant-in-Training. Much like a Clinical Supervisor overseeing a clinician working toward licensure, the Consultant helps the Consultee develop confidence, skill, and expertise in the art and science of EMDR. Consultation is required to become an EMDR-certified therapist, but it can also be done simply for support and learning.
